Out of the Box Series

I have acquired quite the collection of cake mix thanks to couponing - and honestly, I don't use them as much as I think I will when I get them.  Recently, when I was reorganizing my pantry - I came across a multitude of boxed mixes, and some of them needed to be used FAST.  
I know that a lot of you are looking for recipes that are more of a semi-homemade type of thing, so I thought it would be neat to do an 'Out of the Box' series.
